DDGS is a by-product of alcohol production. After extracting starch from grains for alcohol processing, distillers are left with nutrient-rich proteins favored by poultry (layers and broilers), aquaculture, and other feeds. The residual material undergoes centrifugal and two-step drying processes to preserve its nutritional integrity.
